Magnesium Research Center (MRC) has started the “Joint Usage / Research Grant Program” with the aim of establishing an international research center by promoting joint research on magnesium using MRC facilities since FY 2017. In April 2021, MRC established the Institute of Light Metals (ILM) with the Aluminum Research Center (ARC) of University of Toyama as an international center for research and education on the light metals of Mg, Al, and Ti. To expand the scope of the program for this year, we open to the proposal on Mg, Al, and Ti research of the following four grant programs. We look forward to your application.

　There are two types of proposal; 
    Focusd theme which has specific theme 
    Independent research theme which is a free idea of researchers
  However, for the fee for consumables should be up to 20% of the grant.

                  (3)Development of bridge and building materials  (4)Kink strengthening

2.Program for International JURC

3.Program for providing common sample
